Is this course self-paced or live?
This is a 100% self-paced evergreen course. You can start today, pause when you need to, and pick up right where you left off. The curriculum is available 24/7 to fit your schedule.
What happens if I get stuck on a technical issue?
That’s what our Slack community is for! Post your question in the #wordpress-help channel. While there is no 1-on-1 mentorship, our community of students (and the occasional guest expert) are there to help you debug and move forward.
Do I need to buy a domain and hosting to start?
No. In the Foundations module, we teach you how to set up WordPress for free on your own computer (Localhost). Later in the course, we show you free online hosting options (like GitHub Pages and Pantheon) so you can go live without extra costs.
Do I need to know how to code?
No prior coding experience is required! We start from the absolute basics of “How the Web Works” and move into HTML/CSS before diving into WordPress and the Gutenberg Block Editor.
Are there any certificates upon completion?
Once you have completed all modules, passed all quizzes, and submitted your final “Figma to Gutenberg” challenge, you will receive a Digital Certificate of Completion that you can share on LinkedIn or your portfolio.
