Fraud Protection
At our platform, we take the security of your financial data and the integrity of our learning community seriously. We employ industry-leading standards to ensure that your subscription is safe and your learning journey is uninterrupted.
1. Secure Payment Processing
We do not store your full credit or debit card information on our servers. All payments are handled via PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways.
Encryption: All transactions are processed over a secure, encrypted SSL/TLS connection.
Tokenization: Your card details are “tokenized,” meaning your sensitive data is replaced with a unique identifier by the processor, ensuring your actual card info never touches our internal database.
2. Subscription Integrity
To protect our platform from fraudulent billing and “chargeback fraud,” we monitor for the following:
Stolen Card Detection: Our system uses advanced heuristics to identify and block transactions that show patterns of card-testing or stolen credentials.
Account Sharing: Your subscription is for a single user license. Our system monitors for concurrent logins from multiple geographic locations. Excessive or suspicious account sharing may result in an automatic account lock.
3. Phishing & Identity Protection
Official Communications: We will never ask for your password, full card number, or CVV via Slack, email, or social media.
Slack Security: Only trust links posted by the official Admin accounts in our Slack workspace. If you receive a Direct Message (DM) from someone claiming to be “Support” asking for payment, report it immediately.
4. Zero Tolerance Policy
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to permanently ban any user and revoke access without a refund if we detect:
The use of stolen or unauthorized credit cards.
Intentional chargeback abuse (claiming a legitimate purchase was unauthorized).
Reselling or “leaking” curated course links and internal blog content.
5. What to do if you suspect fraud
If you notice any unauthorized charges related to our platform, or if you believe your student account has been compromised, please:
Change your password immediately in the LMS dashboard.
Contact our support team via the #wordpress-help channel in Slack or via support@inoutwp.com.
Notify your bank or card issuer.
